C&O Nursery is proud to offer this new series of peaches from the Fruit Acres breeding program. All peaches in the series bear large red fruit, are bacterial spot-resistant and very winter hardy.
All cultivars in the series have good flavor and shipping quality. All selections stay hard for long periods of time after reaching 60%+ red color and can be harvested in three pickings or less, as they continue to pick up color until they are 90% red.
C&O Nursery will be carrying 8 of the Fruit Acres Stellar™ Series.

RISINGSTAR®, (USPP #10545), SC. Fruit is 80% bright orange-red. Firm, non-browning flesh with very few split pits. Requires diligent thinning most years because of its very hardy buds and blossoms. Good resistance to bacterial spot and peach canker.
REDSTAR®, (USPP #10546), SC. Large, round peach which is 80% rich red over yellow. Firm flesh for shipping with very few split pits. Requires diligent thinning most years because of its very hardy buds and blossoms. Good resistance to bacterial spot and peach canker.
BLAZINGSTARTM, (USPP #10555), F. Round, firm fleshed 90% bright red peach that has great quality. Flesh is yellow and ships well. The tree is very hardy and resistant to bacterial spot. The bud hardiness is good and the cropping history is excellent.
STARFIRETM, (USPP #10548), F. Very large, solid red peach with clear yellow flesh. Must be harvested with several pickings. Fruit shape is round with a slight tendency for a high shoulder. Shipping and eating quality is outstanding.
CORALSTAR®, (USPP #10547), F. Beautiful 80% coral red skin color with clear, non-browning yellow flesh. Large fruit with good shipping and storage qualities which is bacterial spot-resistant. Ripens with multiple pickings over a long period and will produce heavy tonnage per acre.
ALLSTAR®, (USPP #10549), F. Beautiful 90 to 100% bright red skin color with clear, non-browning flesh. Very large fruit with good shipping and storage qualities which is bacterial spot-resistant. Crops heavy, yet can be picked in one or two pickings. Very good flavor.
BLUSHINGSTAR®, (USPP #10554), F. A beautiful white fleshed peach. Peach is 80% deep pinkish-red and a wonderful distinctive flavor. Flesh is white tinged with pink and does not brown when cut. Very firm flesh.
GLOWINGSTAR®, (USPP #10556), F. A large, uniform ripening peach with excellent storage and shipping qualities. Hangs well with very firm, non-browning flesh.
